Founded by Dr. Geoffrey Heber, one of Australia’s leading cosmetic physicians in 1998. We've spent the last 25 years formulating clinically proven skincare products that perform. Lead by our in-house R&D team, we combine optimal levels of active ingredients and leading delivery technologies to create award-winning products.

OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Geoffrey Heber

Dr. Geoffrey Heber is a leading cosmetic physician who opened one of the first non-surgical cosmetic medical clinics in Australia, called Heber Davis Cosmetic Medicine, in 1988. It was there that he recognized his clients’ need for high-performance skincare products that were more effective than those generally found in department stores. 

He discovered his higher-performance formulations proved to maintain and enhance the visible results that his clients demanded.

Our commitment to high ethical standards in relation to animal-welfare is proudly reflected in our Leaping bunny approval, which showcases our dedication to upholding this value throughout our product development.

Our commitment to cruelty-free practices has been a core part of who we are, and we’re proud to continue this journey with our recent Leaping Bunny approval, a global recognition of our dedication to animal welfare. 

Ultraceuticals believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.  

All of our own brand cosmetic and personal care products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognizable gold standard for cruelty free products.  

We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.

Recycling Partnership

At Ultraceuticals head office, we have joined forces with Sustainable Salons, a fantastic organisation. They are responsible for recycling our waste and finding innovating and repurposing solutions while simultaneously benefiting the community.

Ultraceuticals was the first industry Head Office to partner with Sustainable Salons.

Packaging Recyclability

We are working on improving the recyclability of our packaging.

  • Our packaging tubes are proudly manufactured locally in Australia, in a facility powered by a solar farm.

  • All of our cartons are made from 100% recyclable and biodegradable materials.

  • Approximately 80% of our tubes are already 100% recyclable.

Testing

We do not conduct any animal testing in our finished products.

Formulations

All of our products are vegan friendly! They are formulated without any animal-based ingredients nor their by-products

Online Distribution

Our shipping satchels are now made from biodegradable and compostable materials. Our online shopping cartons also use recyclable materials.

Sustainable Forest Program Partnership

We have teamed up with the Impact International Sustainable Forest which spans 114 acres of former farmland. In a remarkable effort, Impact International offset the raw materials used to manufacture the tube packaging by storing carbon in the woody biomass of the trees in the forest.
